Feedback and reporting a problem

From inside the app

A 💬 Feedback button sits in the bottom-left corner of the app. It is available while you are signed in, on the dashboard, workspace, run, and settings pages. Inside the template editor, the floating button is not there; instead, use Feedback & bug reports in the editor's Settings, tour, and more menu.

Choose what kind of note you are sending:

  • Bug, something is broken. Tell us what you were trying to do and what happened instead.
  • Feedback, something works but could be better.
  • Feature request, something you want that does not exist yet.

We see which page you sent it from, so you do not need to describe where you were. What helps most is what you expected to happen.

If you are reporting a failed run, include the run name and the step that failed. See Troubleshooting for what to check first, since several common failures have a fix you can apply immediately.

From outside the app

The contact form works whether or not you are signed in. Use it for access questions, billing, or anything that is not about a specific run. If you are signed in, we reply to your account's email address; otherwise leave your name and email and we will reply there.

What to include in a bug report

The more of this you can give us, the faster it gets fixed:

  • What you were trying to do
  • What actually happened, including the exact error message if there was one
  • The workspace, template, and run name
  • Which step failed, if it was a run
